Applying for a Trustcom account

It takes 2 business days for your account to be opened, but the whole process can be delayed when the set of documents we required is not complete.

Yes it does. This fee depends on the type of current account (business, personal) and IBAN you choose.

The application processing fee is charged from the initial transfer that Trustcom Financial requires you to apply for a current account. The money left are available on your account.

We need to verify and confirm customers’ identity according to the Law on Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing Prevention. This step is required both for personal and business accounts.

Trustcom Financial uses a remote identification methods to screen customers and it requires copies of ID documents. Corporate documents are required for the application process.
To verify your identity, Trustcom Financial uses tools from third-party, which operates under our privacy and data protection regulamentation.

It depends on the type of account you ask for.
To open a Personal IBAN account, Trustcom Financial requires a valid ID document (passport or national ID) and a proof of address.
To open an IBAN account for business, Trustcom Financial requires different documents and a full list can be found, together with the different verification methods, in the online application form.
Note: Trustcom Financial can ask for additional documents at any time and the list of documents provided might differ depending on the company’s country of incorporation.

Closing your Trustcom account

You can close your Trustcom Financial account informing our Customer care team by email at [email protected]. Make sure to cover any debts in your account before closing it. If there are funds left on your account, be sure to transfer it to your new current account. We can do it for you if you cover our administrative costs.

Trustcom Financial does not require any fees to close your account, unless extra operations are needed (e.g. if we have to transfer for you the funds left on your account).

It takes up to 3 business days for your Trustcom Financial account to be closed, if there aren’t pending operations. When the closing operation is completed, we will inform you by email.

Yes it is. At this moment, you can receive only SEPA payments. All the EU banks and many more support this kind of transfer, because it is the fastest and cheapest way to send and receive money.

Yes, you can send funds using both SEPA or SWIFT transfers. SEPA (Single European Payment Area) transfers are executed only in the EU and EEA countries, in EUR currency. Switzerland, Monaco, San Marino, and Gibraltar participate along with EEA countries (EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) in the SEPA scheme.

SWIFT transfers are executed in other currencies and/or in Euro currency to banks in countries outside the EEA or SEPA.
